WE ARE VR CREATIVES

Untold Games was created in 2013 with one simple idea: build cinematic adventures for virtual reality.

The background of our founders vary from the development of multi-platform games (PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Unity and EU) to the entertainment industry (production of films, TV series, interactive webseries, theater). We are an active contributor of the VR revolution and we have developed many relationships and collaborations with key partners such as Razer, Epic Games, Sony, Oculus, PrioVr, Sixense and many others.

Virtual reality has introduced for the first time the sense of presence”. We are convinced that this new medium will be able to merge the interactivity of video games with cinematic storytelling and put us all in the process of living stories like we never did before. We are here to tell those stories.

In VR, the world is around you. And behind you. And on top of you. From the simplest sounds to smaller objects, environments or characters, we design everything to make the most out of your sense of presence.

CINEMATIC STORY TELLING

We design experiences and emotions that only the heroes of the film are lucky enough to live: space exploration, time travel, love stories! Now we want you to play that extra life.

FULL BODY AVATAR

In our adventures, you literally embody the main character: this means that not only you can hear his thoughts, but if you ever wave at yourself in the mirror (yes you’ll do it), you’ll see him waving the hand.

POWERED BY U:N:I:C:S

U:N:I:C:S is our invisible set of controlled feedbacks that simplifies the interactions and make everything (even cooking lasagnas) tons of fun. Think of it as the SCUMM of VR.

MOTION CONTROL READY

As soon as you dive in VR, the first thing you’ll want to do (after the awe is over) is break everything with your hands. The best way to do it? Motion controllers. We’ll support as many as we possibly can.

BELIEVABLE CHARACTERS

Every great story is made of memorable characters. We want each of them to be supported by some solid acting and super smart scripting, so that they’ll naturally react to your actions.

360° 3D AUDIO

“Fool the ear, conquer the hearts!” By using binaural audio, 3d positional attenuation and real-time reverbs, we seek to fetch the most realistic sound presence possible.

NEXT-GEN GRAPHICS

We are proudly powered by the Unreal Engine 4, featuring all the lastest graphical candies, buttery smooth framerate and rock solid physics for another pinch of realism.

THE UNTOLD TEAM

Our team combines the expertise from both the development of video games and the film industry, and is able to produce a full game without outsourcing if necessary. We are all involved in the creative process of our adventures and everyone is more than welcome to put forward his ideas, even if outside his area of expertise.

I direct, write and co-design the games while keeping a firm grip on the vision of Untold Games.
